We are hiring! To strengthen our team, we are looking for a SoC and ASIC Design Tool and Flow Automation Engineer (full-time 38.5 hours)
- Take over responsibility: In this position you are an expert for electronic design automation and the related tools an methods. You will support SoC and ASIC designers with daily issues related to mixed signal IC development flow, as well as work closely with mixed signal SoC (System on Chip) designers and support them with transfer and integration of analog IPs/macros into the digital on top environment
- Assess in a structured manner: Additionally you will collect application specific requirements to the design environment and provide fast solutions, support R&D with project setup topics and methodology and support the simulation setup environment, as well as support R&D in terms of simulation solutions
- Think holistically: You will act as an interface between R&D, electronic design automation vendors and the SoC design team, while supporting the release management with different version control systems
- Personality: High level of enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams, Effective team player with focused on independent working style
- Experience and Know-How: Strong programming skills (Python, Skill,...), design and verification languages (SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog-AMS), Linux knowledge (OS know how, shell scripting), understanding the mixed-signal tool chain (Virtuoso, Spectre, Xcelium, AMS, Synopsys, Mentor Calibre), deep understanding of version control systems and data management
- Education and Languages: Completed technical education (Electrical engineering, Communications engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent), C1 English skills required, German skills are a plus

Gross salary starting from 50.000,00 EUR p.a. (38.5 h / week, collective agreement metalworking, no all-in contract). Overpayment is practiced due to the appropriate experience and qualifications. Another additional salary component are bonuses.
