We have an opportunity for a Team Lead Customer Support QC to join our Venlo, NL team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will report to the Global Sales Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Customer Support department. This is a team that consists of 8 people. You will ensure that customers can contact the Customer Support department with any question about QC and in-line equipment and receive proper assistance or if necessary, referred to the right colleague within the company. In addition, you will take care of the handling of transport and financial documents relate to Quality Components

Your other responsibilities are:
  • Customer Support
    • Manages the Customer Service Officer in the day-to day functions, i.e. customer issue resolutions, pricing discrepancy resolution, shipment accuracy / discrepancy resolution, etc
    • Manages the Order Entry worldwide and provides order fulfillment process expertise as well as within the team as within the company as to the sales partners and end clients.
    • Communicates with manufacturing, operational and supply chain teams regarding product status, i.e. delivery times, late orders, etc.
    • Provides Pentair sales partners with product lead information / delivery times.
    • Training and coaching of (new) employees within the Customer Support department.
    • Develops and manages the documentation of the departmental procedures and ensures that all customer service officers adhere to the developed procedures
    • Preparing the assessment and development interviews for the employees within the Customer Support department.
    • Assesses training needs, develops and provides training for Customer Service officers
    • Communicating with customer in different languages by phone, e-mail or other communication channels.
    • Acting as an internal consultant regarding L/C’s and custom related matters.
  • Support Manager Finance & Operations
    • Indicating possible improvement within the Customer Support department and/or in business processes.
    • Supporting Global Sales Leader QC in the Sales Target / AOP and SIOP processes
    • Analyze and develop corrective actions as well as KPI’s for the CS team
    • Realize the objectives that have been agreed with the Global Sales Manager QC.
  • Transport
    • Ensuring that transport within Pentair Haffmans will be and remain a service profit center.
    • Making sure and regular checking the compliance requirements to the shipping procedures.
The successful candidate that we are looking for has or is:
  • MBO/HBO (Bachelor) degree, with knowledge in a commercial and/or logistical direction
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in an international company
  • Experience with system SAP and MS Office package (Excel, Word and Outlook) is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • Relevant stock control and customer handling experience.
  • People leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of personalities, cultures and departments.
