Realising innovation in healthcare by establishing startups around promising medical technologies
NLC is the European Healthtech Venture Builder. Our mission is to advance health by making impactful medical technologies accessible for everyone. We achieve this by building startups following our unique NLC approach: entrepreneurship at scale. This allows us to scout thousands of inventions each year, select the most promising and turn these into impactful healthtech ventures. We are a team of 80 impact-driven professionals with a fast-growing portfolio of over 100 life-changing ventures and a global network ranging from 1000s of healthtech professionals to 100s of organisations including top universities and corporate partners like Philips. To enable this growth, we are looking for a Venture Developer Intern with a focus on Digital, whilst taking part in creating impact with new healthcare inventions on a global level.
Your role
As an intern, you will scout, select and validate high potential innovations with the NLC venture developers. You initiate and facilitate conversations and discussions with (medical) professionals, professors, inventors, IP lawyers, CE experts, and subsidy advisors; do market research, competitor analysis, visit conferences, make presentations, business plans, investment proposals, and much more!

our profile
- Masters Students either in Data Science, business management, technical medicine, or another healthcare related field, who are interested in learning about building digital products & ventures;
- Strong, professional communicator in English with an eye for detail;
- Adaptive capabilities in a constantly changing environment;
- Batteries-included team player who is more interested in making history than repeating it;
- Affinity with innovation, entrepreneurship, technology, healthcare, and/or startups.
- You must have the right to work in the Netherlands and due to limited resources we do not have the capacity to offer relocation support so it is preferred that you are already located in the Netherlands.

- A full-time internship of 5-6 months located at the Amsterdam office, which can be tailored to your personal interests and learning goals;
